Gifted Education Mentorship Program

The Gifted Education Mentorship Program is a no-cost service program of the Academy of Educators for the Gifted, Talented, and Creative. Its primary purpose is to promote and provide opportunities for personalized professional development for educators interested in the education of gifted, talented, and creative students.

The Gifted Education Mentorship Program is not intended as job-related consultation or assistance in implementation of district/school/classroom gifted education programs.

The Gifted Education Mentorship Program seeks self-motivated, inquisitive, and reflective educators who wish to expand and enhance their professional competence and knowledge in educating gifted and talented students.

There are several mentorship options available through the Academy, as described in the links highlighted below. Each option is geared to different levels of educator knowledge, skill, and experience in gifted education:
